Since 2021, Heritage is the culinary home of chef Nadine Zimmermann. Here the German chef brings a tribute to the Latin-American culture and its rich flavors by translating her love for food into super tasty and honest dishes.
In 2012, at the age of 16, Nadine took her first steps in the culinary world when entering the German kitchen of Wald & Schlosshotel Friedrichsruhe as an apprentice. Thanks to her passion for food, she earned a spot in the Brenners Park Restaurant in Baden where she further developed her skills.
Nadine’s wanderlust and drive to discover the world brought her to Peru, where she fell in love with the Latin-American kitchen. She learned from the best while sharing her daily life with the locals.
After this adventure, she moved back to Europe where she had her first encounter with Belgium as part of the kitchen team in the 2 Michelin star restaurant ‘Pastorale’. After this, Nadine went to France to work in the prestigious Villa René Lalique that has been awarded with 2 Michelin stars.
Bursting with new ideas, she decided to settle down in one of the countries that stole her heart, Belgium! Now she combines the best of two worlds and treats her guests with Latin-American flavors in the city of Ghent.
